Matsya Hospital worked with government partners in Punjab, Delhi, Haryana and Himachal to establish COVID-19 care centers – facilities furnished with PPE and equipment needed for local and state hospital workers to care for patients infected with the coronavirus.
The Covid-19 Pandemic caused disruption to lives of all human beings. In India a total lockdown was ordered by the Government on 24th March 2020, initially for 6 weeks and subsequently on numerous occasions. Matsya Hospital was identified by the Government of Punjab as one of the major hospitals in North zone to treat COVID patients. We were tasked to prepare 20 beds facility for COVID treatment. Accordingly, two wards were converted in to COVID wards and six beds ICU along with COVID operation theatre for established.
